The Rosary

Different forms of the rosary are prayed in Roman Catholicism, hinduism, buddhism and islam. It may surprise some that Hinduism also practices celibacy of the clergy, separation from the world, worship of saints, fastings, processions, litanies, and use of holy water. In each of these religions, the rosary is made of beads on a string or knotted cord. Islam uses 99 beads and the Hindus and Buddhists use 100 as well as 66 beads. Prayers are repeated as the beads are counted. The rosary was not used by Jesus, by His apostles, or by the early church fathers. The Roman Catholic Church started using the rosary around 1350 A.D. Protestants do not use a rosary. Second Vatican Council, “The Cult of The Blessed Virgin In The Church” The Cult of mary  is also considered by Catholics to be a co-mediator and a co-redeemer.

Where in the KJV of the Bible does it refer to the rosary? Nowhere. It is false teaching.

The Roman Catholic Church states that the rosary encompasses the gospel. It is just a useless ritual because prayers are not received nor answered by mary or the current pope here on earth.

Where in the King James version of the Bible does it say to pray to mary or the pope for forgivness of your sins or to intercede for your transgressions? Nowhere. It is false teaching taught by false teachers.

Praying the rosary is also said to provide special graces and protection against various evils, including false teaching. Praying the rosary IS FALSE TEACHING.

Praying the rosary is said to provide partial removal of the punishment that we deserve for our sins while we are here on earth.

Where in the KJV of the bible does it say this? There is No such thing as partial removal of sins. Jesus never taught this. It is a lie conceived by the catholic church to deceive people.

Roman Catholic doctrine also teaches that a person can earn a complete “relief” from all stored up punishment at the time of praying the rosary, receiving the sacraments of confession, receiving the Eucharist, and offering prayers for the Pope. There is no forgivness of sins by praying the rosary or foregivness of punishment when praying the rosary. The sacraments of confession given by a roman catholic priest are false teaching that these will forgive your sin, its a false ritual made up by the catholic church. Offering prayers to the pope in rome, who is only a ordinary sinner, who is lost without Christ is a uselss catholic ritual and false teaching by the catholic church. The rosary is a roman catholic human invention ritual that is useless.

What Does Scripture Say?

It is important for us to ask a key question, “Does the Bible ever refer to the rosary?” If it does, then the rosary might be important. If it does not, then how important is the rosary? The answer to these questions is that the Bible does not mention it. In fact, Mary does not appear in the pages of scripture after Acts 1. The rosary is not mentioned in scripture because it is a human invention. It is not of God. It does not provide forgiveness of our sins, relief from punishment, or certain graces; nor does it give us victory over hell.  

	Truth Scripture Only Jesus forgives sins. Mary cannot do anything for us. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus . . (NASB) 1 Tim. 2:5 God is faithful to forgive our sins. He does not need to be encouraged or motivated. This is a promise. We do not need the help of Mary. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (NASB) 1 John 1:9 Forgiveness and relief from punishment in this life occur when we confess our sins to God. When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long. For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin to Thee, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”; And Thou didst forgive the guilt of my sin. (NASB) Ps. 32:3-5 We do not need to go to a priest to be forgiven. We can confess our sins directly to God. But you are . . . a royal PRIESTHOOD . . . (NASB) 1 Peter 2:9 Walking in the Holy Spirit gives us certain graces. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control . . . (NASB) Gal. 5:22-23 Victory over hell is found in the armor of God. Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. (NASB) Eph. 6:10-19
	Catholic Paganism  The Catholic Church makes tradition above or equal to Scripture, but in actuality many of its traditions actually stem from pagan sun worship. Its teachings, beliefs and practices come from Mithraism.
	Conclusion: The rosary is a pagan practice and not a Biblical one. The rosary cannot be found in the Bible. The rosary promises benefits which it cannot provide. The rosary is doctrinal error and false teaching.
	2 Corinthians 11 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. Ephesians 5: 11 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.   2 Timothy 3 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

 
1 John 2:18-26 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

2 Peter 2:1-3

2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2:3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The catholic church is a false church and a false religion. It does make merchandise of  people by deceiving them with rituals that are taught as biblical scripture. Man made catholic doctrine is a false doctrine that denys the deity of God the father, God the son and God the holy shost by including the false deity of the mother of jesus and the pope in rome.

If you put your trust in salvation in mary, rosary beads and the pope alone you are deceived and will not receive forgivness of your sins from God. Put you trust in Jesus alone for your salvation. Acts 4:12 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. If you are a roman catholic consider these verses that explain that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus. Ephesians 2:8-9 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. The roman catholic church teaches that you can work your way to heaven by counting rosary beads and praying to mary and the pope in rome. This is false teaching and is condemed by Jesus in the bible. False teachers that teach salvation by praying to mary and the pope will not escape the damnation of hell because they rejected Jesus teaching of salvation through grace alone. Jesus never taught you could work your way to heaven by obeying rituals the catholic church has devised.  If you are trusting in a church alone for your salvation you are deceived.

Neither did Jesus teach about catholic holy water, rosary beads, praying to his mother, praying to a pope in rome, or confessing you sins to a priest in a catholic church for foregiveness of your sins.

All false religions teach you can work your way to heaven and please God by obeying the rules of a man made religion.
 
God tells us salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus. Ephesians 2:8-9
