There I Was (Salvation Tract)
There I was doing just what I wanted. I always thought of myself first.
I was similar to other people who live their lives just for themselves.
I just want to have everything my way. I was always thinking about myself.
Because I was the center of my universe I concentrated on making myself happy doing just what I wanted to do without thinking or caring about the consequences of my actions. I didn't worry about tommorrow. I said, "Live and let live".
I just thought it would "all work out in the end".
Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year I lived for myself and no one else.
All I wanted to do was to get my share of whatever was coming to me. I wanted it now..
But one day:
THERE I WAS, in hell. Yes that's right in hell.
I was amazed and tormented in the flames roasting.
Instantly I knew why I was in Hell. Instantly I knew it was too late to do anything about it.
I had lived my life for myself only and rejected Jesus as my saviour. Now I was awaiting:

Believe In Jesus And Be Saved!
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
